For this project, I was tasked with using maya's modelling tools to replicate a block out of a Level of an existing game.
This project allowed me to familiarize myself with the software, as well as practice level design without worrying about the functionality or designing the level.
The level I chose was from a VR game called 'Red Matter'. The requirements for the level, was to have the level completed modelled at a low poly level, as well as unwrapped and have appropriate materials applied to accurately represent the level we had chosen. Below I have attached comparison screenshots between my level and the original level.
Here I have some comparison screen shots of my block-out and the actual level in game.

Original plan for the level, including top-down map, with screen shots in the different directions they were taken to assist with modelling. I also have an asset list to keep track of what I have to make.
